As the afternoon sun slanted down between the booth tents, one person quietly approached the mat. The expression looked as if they had already read the catalog. Without seeming to need guidance, they found a spot on their own. They listened closely to the sound waves, asked questions, listened again, and asked more. Alternating between two types, the man stayed for nearly 40 minutes before finally speaking.
"I want to buy this." It was a voice full of certainty.
On May 16 and 17, 2026, at Seoul’s Munhwa Biennial Storage Site—Wanderlust Korea 2026—the scene that left the deepest impression among the participants who tried the meditation device E·WAN booth at one side of the Coola Market stood out.

Two days that began with the mat at the Munhwa Biennial Storage Site: "What is this?"
Presented by Dr. Corcan, E·WAN is a somatic-based immersive meditation device. It embeds acoustic vibrations from a complex waveform and a pelvic-alignment structure into a single device, designing a flow in which the body settles first and the mind naturally follows. Inside the device are 10 sessions, including a singing-bowl meditation, a breathing rhythm guide, learning to notice body sensations, and a sleep ritual.
The reason the E·WAN team chose Wanderlust’s stage—where people come to explore themselves through yoga and movement—was clear. Meeting people who are interested in their bodies directly. Their assessment was that the truest feedback came from the expressions after sitting on the mat and from their breathing.
Over the two days, more participants wanted to try it than they had expected. Most of the encounters began with a single line: "What is this?" Some people approached out of curiosity and stayed briefly. Others looked amazed and moved on to other spots. The distinctive pattern showed up across age groups. Younger participants approached with curious expressions, while participants in their middle age and beyond stayed on the mat longer. They appeared to savor the sensations brought on by the body’s subtle tremors for an extended time.

Sound-wave vibrations set the body down first
When you sit on E·WAN, resonance begins from the lower body. It is not mechanical vibration based on a single hertz. Instead, the device directly delivers acoustic vibrations from a complex waveform to the body. This is where yoga practitioners—already accustomed to breathing and posture—notice the difference first. It is that the familiar order of meditation, where you set your posture and steady your mind, happens in reverse. As the body settles, the surface of the mind also becomes calmer.
The fact that the reason meditation felt difficult was not a matter of willpower or focus could be felt just by sitting on the mat for a short time. It is not meditation that grips the mind with willpower. It is meditation that lets the body put itself down first. That difference showed in the expressions of participants as they walked past the booth.

40 minutes of silence, followed by a single line: "I want to buy this"—the healing story
The story from the participant whose impression lingered the longest began in a brief conversation after the purchase. He said that during a time when his body was not in good shape, he had an experience of healing with a singing bowl, and that now he is the person who plays the singing bowl himself. When listening to singing-bowl tracks on YouTube, he said, the sensations of playing it himself do not come alive. With E·WAN, those sensations are awakened again.
The sound you hear with your ears and the vibrations that pass through your body carry different textures. In effect, E·WAN translated those sensations that had been etched into the hands and chest of the singing-bowl player into the language of the device. Even without a long explanation, people who notice things right away can tell. Among the time spent at the booth, it was the quietest—and deepest—encounter.
Encounters beyond the booth: the results of a wellness collaboration
Aside from meetings with participants, an unexpected scene unfolded inside the booth. Collaboration proposals came in from two places running wellness businesses. One was a company that supplies wellness programs to hotels and corporate clients. The other was an enterprise seeking to bring scattered wellness services together into a single flow.
What stood out was that, although the two proposals appeared to point in different directions, they were aiming for the same destination. How to stitch fragmented wellness into a single line. Within that, what role could the meditation device play? The conversation did not start from a planned meeting—it began naturally beside the mat. Sometimes, the right connections arrive in exactly this way.
People who understand with their body seek it out themselves
The Wanderlust event left the E·WAN team with one clear confirmation. People who understand with their body find their own place without needing lengthy guidance. For a meditation device that brings the body and mind closer together through sound-wave vibrations—this event showed clearly who it needed to meet.
Somatic-based training, singing bowls, sound healing, yoga, and every flow that pays attention to your own breathing are gradually coming closer together. The people E·WAN wants to meet are within that flow—the same kind of hands-on recognition where, after spending 40 minutes on the mat comparing the two types, the body is the first to notice.
