Cafe Harin Book Salon plans a summer special book salon
Last Saturday, the 11th, a book concert was held at the Line Hall on the first floor of the Daejeon Secret Woman headquarters, inviting author Yoon Yoori, the writer of 「Abundance Code」.
The book salon was held not at Cafe Harin in Sejong, but in a large hall over 100 pyeong, and it was packed with enthusiasm from across the country—starting with a first round that sold out all seats, then extending to a second recruitment drive.
The reason this spacious event hall opened as a book salon for a day was due not only to the thoughtfulness of Kim Young-hyu, CEO of Secret Woman, who has nurtured and helped many women entrepreneurs grow through her “women business owner class,” but also to the support and sponsorship of many people. The planning was handled by Hyun Hye-seon, CEO of Cafe Harin, known as a “house of book concerts,” and the event was led by announcer Kim A-jin. In addition, at the special request of the Healing News, a singing bowl meditation session was added. With books from recently published authors supported, and women entrepreneurs offering a wide range of product sponsorships, everyone who attended was able to return home with many gifts—making it a genuinely bountiful event for those who traveled from afar.

“Who Am I?” What 20 years of questions left behind
Yoon Yoori’s background can’t be summed up in a single line. She started her career as a flight attendant for Asiana Airlines and British Airways, completed an MBA in the U.K., and then earned qualifications as a British lawyer, an accountant, and a tax accountant in sequence. These days, she works as a tax partner at a U.K. law firm. In a setting dealing with international taxation, corporate structures, real estate, and M&A, she lived in a world built with numbers and logic.
To fill a sense of inner emptiness, she kept earning certifications. She had achieved some social success as well, but there was still emptiness in one corner of her heart. The author said that the question that led her—someone who had been a successful lawyer—through 20 years of exploration was “Who am I?” And the tool she used to find the answer was meditation. She explained that even her certifications, her partner position, and her current book all came from that time.

How does the life you want become real?
At the center of the lecture, there was a single tree. The fruits ripening at the ends of the branches are the money, health, relationships—and results we often want to change. The roots are unconscious programs and beliefs, and the soil that surrounds those roots is the state of consciousness. She pointed out that the reason change was slow was that she tried to change the fruits while leaving the soil as it was. If you first change the state of consciousness that underpins everything, and then change the unconscious programs and beliefs connected to it, later the result values change as well.
Another scene she cited was the double-slit experiment in quantum physics. Before anything is observed, everything exists as waves of possibility, and the author used the observer effect—where consciousness selects one of them and locks it into reality—as the basis for re-designing existence. She stressed that we are not victims of reality; we are designers.
Abundance is not just a word that fills what’s missing
In the book’s title, abundance is often translated as prosperity. Following the etymology makes the nuance clearer. The Latin word abundare comes from the word unda, which means a wave. It refers to the scene where waves roll in and overflow beyond the rim of a bowl. Filling the missing spots to bring everything into balance is a different direction. It is a question of what state things exist in—whether what has already filled is overflowing—rather than asking how much you have. It matches exactly the line that appeared on the first screen of the lecture. It said that life is no longer a problem of working harder—it’s a question of what state you exist in.
She emphasized that it’s important to build prosperity into a system through eight life structures. My consciousness growth applies to all areas of life—mind and self, health, relationships, economy, occupation, beliefs, and community. Her explanation was that a life where each area doesn’t become a “liability” but becomes an “asset,” and where consciousness growth applies directly across every area of life, is what she is saying.
She called a life where each area is an asset rather than a liability true prosperity. A life where you have plenty of money but your health remains like debt, or where your career is solid but relationships turn into a waste cycle—those are structures where you tear down one part to fill another. In such a life, no matter how much you fill, it never overflows. Overflow only appears when the eight “spaces” rise together toward the same center at the same time. His message—that prosperity should be built as the system for how you live, not the goal you aim to obtain—along with his subtitle that says “alignment comes before achievement,” came up again and again throughout the entire three hours.

The final hours filled with a singing bowl and cosmic meditation
For this event, at the special request of Cafe Harin CEO Hyun Hye-seon, Oh Hye-seon Sriya, who serves as the publisher of Healing News and also obtained the qualification of an international coach from Chopra, led the singing bowl meditation. The vibrations and resonance of the crystal singing bowls filled the entire hall. It was a moment where you could watch faces with eyes closed grow softer one by one and the mind settle into quiet.
As the relaxation deepened, the cosmic meditation by Yoon Yoori naturally continued. For about 30 minutes, following her voice, the hall was filled with the words “gratitude” and “blessing.”
The topic wasn’t meditation, yet the book concert began with meditation from start to finish. With a single book between you, it’s really not easy for people across the country to gather like this. Yoon Yoori said, “I hope you go back as your ‘new self’ while carrying gratitude and blessings.” While the question of how the life you want—along with meditation—becomes reality didn’t give complete answers within three hours, the back view of the participants walking away while carrying the passion and energy they shared as their own will remain for a long time.
