The Seoul Mapo All That Healing meditation center marks its 16th summer and will host an Aug. 8 Open Celebration for its 16th anniversary along with a meditation and healing night. The day-long schedule starts at 9:30 a.m. and runs until night, featuring Osho meditation and healing therapy, as well as live performances and a dance party.
16 years that began at the Modern Active Healing Meditation Center in 2011
All That Healing’s starting point was the Modern Active Healing Meditation Center, which opened in 2011. The organizers said that since then, they have continued time for meditation and healing to care for the body and mind, and that through countless meetings, the sessions have become a turning point—rest for some, recovery for others, and a chance to breathe life into their lives again. The event, they added, is designed both to commemorate the time that has passed and to reopen a festival of healing and sharing.

Osho Mystic Rose to start the morning—laughter, tears, and silence
The day’s program begins with the Osho Mystic Rose Taster, running from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mystic Rose is one of Osho’s three major meditation and healing methods, originally conducted over three weeks in one-week blocks, and it consists of three stages: laughter, crying, and silence.
The organizers introduced laughter meditation as a process in which laughter that bursts out from deep within the core clears away the murky energy inside the body. They said crying meditation is a process of releasing suppressed sadness, despair, and tears. They described silence meditation as dealing with inner calm that arises after laughter and crying, and they added that in this stage, participants meet a purity like the sky without a single cloud. This event will be held in a taster format that compresses the three-week course.
Aafternoon opened with a mini healing fair and Ziberish meditation
From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., a mini healing fair will be held. It consists of Divine Reiki (3 people, 30 minutes each), aroma emotion reading led by Elena (3 people, 20 minutes each), and breath therapy led by Sananda—three sessions in total. Because the number of participants is limited, advance registration is required and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
At 3:30 p.m., Ziberish meditation will continue. It is a meditation method conducted every day, 365 days a year at an Osho meditation resort in Pune, India. Osho has previously described this meditation as one of the most scientific ways to purify the mind.
African tribal therapy meditation and live performances
From 4 p.m. to 5:20 p.m., African tribal therapy meditation will be held. Starting from the view that modern people who are overly skillful and civilized need wild energy, the organizers describe it as a ground festival meditation that revives primal life force and vitality and awakens the earth’s thumping. It is a session centered on the sound of drums and the movement of the body.
From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., performances by Mustang Sally and Ian John will follow. Mustang Sally is a singer-songwriter who began her career in 2007 as a guitarist for the all-female four-piece band Mary’s Jane, and formed Mustang Sally, a mixed-gender band, in 2013. She represented Korea at a historic U.S. blues festival in 2020 and currently plays guitar at Sinchon Blues. Ian John is a sound artist and an improvisational musician from New Zealand who operates primarily based in South Korea. He has built an original world of improvisational music and has planned and run performance projects with musicians in and outside the country.
Performances after dinner and a celebration dance party
From 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., it is dinnertime. It is set up as a time for participants who spent the day with meditation and therapy to gather around tables, sit down, and talk.
Then, from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., a performance titled “Oh! What a Wonderful…” by the performance troupe “Oh! What a Wonderful…”—“Mootjima ShoshoSho Show ShoShoSho”—will be presented. Starting at 8 p.m., a celebration dance party will be held. The organizers explained that this time is not a forced sense of freedom or oppression, and not a time in which people feel guilt—it’s a time when enjoyment is fully allowed and seriousness disappears.
