MAGO SOUND, a group comprising vocalist Margo, handpan player Sion, synthesizer player Song Su-jung and percussionist Jo Jung-wook, has forged its own musical world by connecting meditation and music, breath and movement in a single flow.
What they want to convey through music has little to do with flashy technique or intense stimulation. One line — “a performance that doesn’t radiate outward but draws you inward” — captures MAGO SOUND’s approach to music. Applying ‘Silent Live’(Silent Live) to meditation and wellness music
As an early pioneer of meditation and wellness silent live performances in South Korea, MAGO SOUND has developed its own distinctive sound by incorporating “Silent Live,” in which audiences listen to live music in real time through wireless headphones, into meditation and wellness music.
This is not simply a matter of routing the sound of a conventional performance through headphones. While a typical concert sends sound throughout an entire space, MAGO SOUND’s Silent Live brings even the vocalist’s quiet breaths and the instruments’ faintest resonances closer to listeners through their headphones.

‘The Intern,’ a film suffused with warm humanism, follows the relationships and emotions between people. At some point in that story, MAGO SOUND’s music quietly seeps in.
MAGO SOUND recommends that audiences watch the film to discover for themselves which scenes feature its music and the mood in which it arrives. The group said that if viewers happen to hear a sound that lingers in their hearts as they follow the story, they should pause and listen. It added that they may then have a moment of recognition: “Oh, this is MAGO SOUND.”
The film also contains another small surprise. Margo and the members of MAGO SOUND briefly appear on screen.
