Have you ever thought about wanting to pause for a moment in your busy life? That deep desire to put down the noise in your head, to simply breathe, feel, and return to your body. A retreat that answers that desire will be held in the deep nature near Johannesburg, South Africa.
Women's Only Yoga Retreat in the Forest of Magaliesburg, 'RETURN'
From March 6 to 8, 2026, the women's only yoga and embodiment retreat 'RETURN' will take place at the bush camp 'Sima Kade' located in the heart of the Magaliesburg Valley in South Africa.
The retreat is organized by Kylie, a yoga teacher and massage therapist, and Adelle, an emotional release bodywork expert and women's healing guide. They introduce the retreat by saying, "This retreat is about coming together to slow down and spend time within our bodies."
The Meaning of 'Returning to the Body' — What is an Embodiment Retreat?
'Embodiment' is not just about moving the body. It is a practice of drawing consciousness that has been stuck in the head down into the body, awakening the senses, and reconnecting with oneself. Gentle yoga, embodiment practice, yoga nidra, sound journeys, journaling, and reflection time come together to guide participants out of the inertia of daily life and back to a quieter, clearer self.
Sima Kade — Five Spaces Connected by Stone Paths
The Sima Kade bush camp, where the retreat takes place, is a rustic outdoor retreat space nestled in the nature of the Magaliesburg Valley. The camp consists of five areas connected by stone paths. There is a kitchen and dining area overlooking a natural swimming pool by the river, a fire boma with a bonfire under the stars, a wood-fired hot tub, bathrooms and cabin rooms, a treehouse built among the trees, and a forest deck surrounded by woods.
There are two types of accommodations. The treehouse, quietly situated among the trees, is an independent room built of natural wood, offering a private space that feels embraced by nature. The cabin room is a cozy space with large windows that bring in the valley view.

3-Day Program — Time to Not Rush
This retreat is thoroughly aimed at 'slowing down'. The 2-night, 3-day program includes gentle yoga, embodiment practice, yoga nidra & sound journey, soaking in the wood-fired hot tub, journaling and self-reflection, forest walks and rock pool hiking, relaxation and exploration time in nature, opening and closing ceremonies, vegetarian meals, and a welcome gift.
All participants will receive 2 nights of accommodation, full vegetarian meals, opening and closing ceremonies, and a curated welcome gift as all-inclusive. Massages can be selected with prior reservation.
There is also a 'One-Day Option' for those who can only participate for one day
If you cannot participate for the entire weekend, there is an option to join for just Saturday. This includes gentle yoga, embodiment, wood-fired hot tub, journaling, rock pool hiking, breakfast and lunch, relaxation time, and a welcome gift.

A Safe Space Created by Two Facilitators
Kylie is known for creating a safe and warm space with soul and sincerity as a yoga teacher and massage therapist. Adelle is an emotional release bodywork expert and women's healing guide, leading participants to come down from their heads into their bodies and back to their femininity and fullness.
What You Will Feel After the Retreat
The organizers say that participants returning from this retreat will come back softer, lighter, clearer, regulated, and connected, feeling embraced by femininity and other women.
If you miss nature, tranquility, and the solidarity of women — the forest of Magaliesburg is waiting for you this March.
